The Hungarian Grand Prix track is located at 20 kilometres north of Budapest and provides the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, referred as the ‘Paris of central Europe’.

 


TRANSPORT GUIDE


Airport Information
Budapest can be reached via the Ferihegy International airport, located 16 km (10miles) south east of Budapest. Despite of its small size, it services over 20 airlines with 50 daily flights.
There is an airport bus leaving for the downtown area every 30 minutes and  taking roughly 30 minutes.





By Bus

Free shuttle bus services during
the Hungarian Grand Prix are organized for F1 tickets holders. Bus terminal is located in the center of Mogyoród with bus routes departing from the Pest end of the Árpád Bridge (city center).


By Helicopter

Helicopter service from Budapest to the racing circuit is available, providing t
he easiest and fastest way to reach the Hungaroring circuit.


By Car
Hungaroring racing circuit is easily accessible by car, taking the E71/M3 motorway, in the direction of Miskolc. Mogyoród could be reached by car in 20 minutes by the M3 motorway. Vignette is needed in order to drive on the motorway and could be purchased at petrol stations. The price of a four-day vignette is about 5 €.




By Train
The circuit is suited on the border of the small village called Mogyorod and can be reached from Budapest by train in 30 minutes. Budapest is connected by trains from all over Europe and it daily serves eleven trains to and from Vienna (Austria), six trains to Prague, two to Warsaw (Poland) and one to Berlin (Germany).


By Metro



Parking Information

Along with every Grandstand ticket purchased, there is a free parking ticket for cars and motorcycles. Despite the plenty of parking space available at the circuit, accessing the Hungaroring by car is not a recommended due to the heavy traffic during the Grand Prix week-end.
